The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup is a monthly gathering for startup founders, investors, mentors and tech leaders. The objective is to gather everyone in the tech community to meet, network, and do great business together. In our first year we hosted over 1,800 tech leaders across the first 12 editions of the meetup.
According to the Global Startup Ecosystem Report by Startup Genome, the world’s leading tech ecosystems thrive in part due to the density of community building events, such as tech meetups. The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup exists with the goal of contributing to the advancement of our tech community.
Our mission is to strengthen the local tech community in Fort Lauderdale, building valuable relationships that will drive forth the growth and visibility, making this city an incredible place for tech companies to grow and scale.

The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup is a monthly happy hour for the tech community, open to startup founders, investors and tech leaders.
Join us for drinks and networking in Fort Lauderdale (non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available).
The objective is to gather everyone in tech to network, have a drink and support each other's work.
This is a great time to practice your pitch, find a partner, investors, employees, a new mentor, or a job.

You can expect to be greeted by our volunteers at the door, you’ll be given the opportunity to make a name tag and register for our directory as well as any giveaways being promoted that night.
There is a light agenda with a 5-10 minute welcome on the microphone by the event host and any sponsors of the night, otherwise the night is focused on networking and casual conversation.
Towards 7:00 PM any additional content will take place, depending on the schedule (this could mean a short panel, giveaways or startup pitches). See our Eventbrite page for a more detailed agenda, as it changes every month.
